Summary

We’re looking for a Mechanical Mate to join our team on-site at Sellafield. This role offers an excellent rate of pay and additional bonuses under NAECI, making it an ideal opportunity for someone with the required site credentials looking for a secure position. 

Salary

£19.02 per hour plus bonuses under NAECI 

Location and Working Pattern

Sellafield – 5-day working week (on-site)

Client Overview

Our client is a recognised specialist in the nuclear industry, delivering essential services and projects to support the UK’s energy infrastructure. 

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical fitters with installation and assembly tasks
• Handle, move and position mechanical components safely
• Operate hand tools and equipment under supervision
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all site safety and compliance procedures
• Assist with the preparation of materials and work areas
• Conduct basic checks and report issues to supervisors

 

Must-have Requirements

• CSCS Green Card
• IOSH qualification or CCSNG card
• Ability to work safely to site standards and procedures

 

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience in an industrial or nuclear environment
• Familiarity with NAECI project sites
