Commissioning Manager

We’re seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead, plan, and implement the commissioning strategy for a major construction development. 
This senior role is essential for ensuring that all building systems and equipment function according to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. If you have a strong background in coordinating complex commissioning activities, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of critical project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commissioning plans and programmes to meet project milestones
• Oversee functional and performance testing of systems, ensuring compliance with specifications
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders, including MEP teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Conduct inspections and validation of mechanical and electrical systems prior to handover
• Identify and resolve technical issues swiftly to maintain progress
• Prepare commissioning documentation and ensure regulatory requirements are met
• Implement best practices in health, safety, and quality management during commissioning phases

Must-have Requirements

• Strong track record as a Commissioning Manager or Specialist within construction, MEP, or building services
• In-depth knowledge of commissioning processes for electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and commissioning schedules
• Excellent leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements
