Emma Lowden is the Regional Director for the NRL’s North East operations, overseeing branches in Sunderland, Blyth, Teesside, and the wider region. She joined NRL in 1999 and has since built a long and successful career supporting clients across the oil, gas and petrochemical, built environment, renewables, infrastructure, conventional power, transmission and distribution, and advanced facilities sectors. Over her career, Emma has progressed through a variety of roles, from recruitment consultant to branch manager and now regional director. Alongside her professional development, she has achieved an MBA, reflecting her commitment to business strategy, leadership excellence, and continual growth. A passionate advocate for the North East, Emma is dedicated to supporting the region’s regeneration, skills development, and long-term economic growth. She champions local talent, sustainable employment, and opportunities linked to the energy transition and emerging technologies.
