Mechanical Technician – Wind

Location & Project Context: North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project
Purpose: Execute mechanical maintenance and repair activities on wind turbine mechanical systems to ensure availability and reliability.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/corrective mechanical maintenance per schedule.
• Diagnose failures; replace/adjust/align parts and lubricate systems.
• Inspect for corrosion, cracks, leaks and wear; take remedial actions.
• Maintain logbooks and support spares/inventory control.
• Comply with HSE procedures and permit systems.
• Collaborate with electrical/I&C teams during outages and upgrades.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate/Associate Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance.
• 3–5 years’ mechanical maintenance experience; wind preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow OEM procedures.
• Strong teamwork and safety mindset.
