Instrument & Control Engineer - Transmission Network

Location & Project Context: North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project
Purpose: Maintain, test and optimise instrumentation and control systems supporting HV transmission assets and substations.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive/corrective maintenance on I&C equipment in substations.
• Diagnose and resolve failures; calibrate instruments to standards.
• Interpret control/system diagrams and implement changes.
• Document work and maintain CMMS records.
• Support commissioning and relay/SCADA integration.
• Ensure HSE and PTW/LOTO compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/Control or Electrical Engineering (Diploma acceptable with strong experience).
• 5–7 years’ I&C experience; transmission/substation exposure preferred.
• Competence in calibration, diagnostics and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of SCADA and communication systems.
