Field Operator – HV Transmission Network

Location & Project Context: North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project
Purpose: Operate, monitor and carry out routine checks on HV substations and transmission lines to ensure reliable, uninterrupted power flow.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Execute switching operations under PTW and LOTO systems.
• Monitor voltage, current, load and alarms; escalate abnormalities.
• Conduct substation and line inspections; identify issues (leaks, overheating, noise, corrosion, vegetation).
• Support relay/SCADA testing and communication systems.
• Perform basic maintenance and raise work requests.
• Maintain logs and contribute to safe shift handovers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in transmission operations/control-room support.
• Knowledge of HV equipment, SCADA and safe switching procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and HSE compliance.

Working pattern: 5 days/week; rotational working may be required.
