Electrician

NRL are currently recruiting Electricians in Glen Mor, Invergarry.
 
Start: 19th January 2026

Duration: 30th January 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Pulling and routing electrical cables across the site.
• Performing glanding and terminating of cables to a high standard.
• Assisting with temporary site power setup and distribution.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborating with site supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines.

Requirements:

• Valid JIB card - essential
• Proven experience in cable pulling, glanding, and terminating.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation (preferred).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices on construction sites.

Additional Information:

• Mon-Fri 10hrs a day available, 11 day fortnight this may change due to subject site agreement
• Free parking available on site
• Welfare facilities on site
• All work is outside and exposed to elements

Pay: PAYE or Umbrella

Graded Electrician
PAYE Rate:

Basic Mon-Fri 1st 37.5 hours - 
£19.54 Working Rate £2.74 Holiday Pay = £22.28 Total Payable

Overtime 1.5 (Dayshift midweek overtime, saturday 1st 6 hours) - 
£29.31 Working Rate £3.54 Holiday Pay = £32.85 Total Payable

Overtime 2 (Dayshift Saturday after 1st 6 hours & Sunday-
£39.08 Working Rate £4.72 Holiday Pay = £43.80 Total Payable


Umbrella Rate:
Basic rate - £25.49
Overtime 1 - £38.24
Overtime 2 - £50.98

PAYE Rate:

Basic Mon-Fri 1st 37.5 hours - 
£21.19 Working Rate £2.98 Holiday Pay = £24.17 Total Payable

Overtime 1.5 (Dayshift midweek overtime, saturday 1st 6 hours) - 
£31.79 Working Rate £3.84 Holiday Pay = £35.62 Total Payable

Overtime 2 (Dayshift Saturday after 1st 6 hours & Sunday-
£42.38 Working Rate £5.12 Holiday Pay = £47.50 Total Payable

Umbrella Rate:
Basic rate - £27.64
Overtime 1 - £41.46
Overtime 2 - £55.29
