Electrical Technician – BESS

Location & Project Context: North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project
Purpose: Execute routine and corrective maintenance on BESS electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair faults on transformers, switchgear and control devices.
• Test circuits/wiring; verify insulation and termination integrity.
• Update maintenance logs and support spares/inventory control.
• Work to HSE procedures; support outage activities when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers on improvements and RCA.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate/Associate Diploma in Electrical Maintenance.
• 3–5 years’ plant electrical maintenance experience; BESS exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, testing and documentation.
• Teamwork and effective collaboration skills.
