Electrical Technician – ARCS (PV)

Location & Project Context: North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project
Purpose: Maintain and operate the Automatic Robotic Cleaning System (ARCS) and associated PV electrical equipment to deliver availability and soiling-loss KPIs.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on ARCS robots per OEM guidelines.
• Diagnose electrical/controls faults; repair and test circuits and wiring.
• Return robots to stations; manage charging and readiness.
• Monitor ARCS SCADA; support integration with main PV SCADA.
• Maintain maintenance logs and adhere to HSE procedures.
• Assist wider plant electrical maintenance when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Certificate/Associate Diploma in Electrical Maintenance.
• 2–4 years’ experience in plant electrical maintenance; robotics/electronics helpful.
• Basic programming/microcontroller knowledge; component-level repairs.
• Competent English communication and documentation.

Working pattern: 5 days/week; rotational working may be required.
