Electrical Engineer - Transmission Network

Location & Project Context: North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project
Purpose: Plan, execute and oversee operation, testing and maintenance of high-voltage transmission systems to ensure reliable power transfer.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Review single-line diagrams, protection schemes and technical drawings.
• Supervise testing/commissioning of transformers, switchgear and relays.
• Analyse faults, perform RCA and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure correct earthing, insulation coordination and protection settings.
• Lead outage planning and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Maintain SAP/CMMS records and ensure HSE compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years’ experience in transmission (EHV preferred).
• Expertise in protection, testing and commissioning of HV equipment.
• Strong planning and stakeholder coordination skills.
